Legal
Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data StyleTodo collects when you visit styletodo.com or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it short and we only collect what we need.
Who we are
styletodo.com is run by StyleTodo (“we”, “us”). StyleTodo is in the process of registering its company. Our full legal name and registered address will be added here as soon as registration is complete.
For anything about your data, write to hello@styletodo.com. We answer within one month.
What we collect and why
When you place an order
Your name, email, phone (optional), billing and delivery address, what you ordered, and any order note. We use it to make and deliver your order, send order emails, handle returns and keep the records the law requires. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations (tax and accounting).
Where you came from
With each order WooCommerce notes how you found us (for example a social link or a search) and the device type. We use it to understand which channels work.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the shop.
If you join our newsletter (The Society)
Your email, and your name if you give it, so we can send new drops and stories. You only join if you sign up or tick “Email me with news and offers” at checkout. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cart reminders
If you enter your email at checkout and leave without ordering, we save your email and cart so we can send a short reminder about that order. You can opt out right there by clicking “No thanks” under the email field. A cart that isn’t completed is marked as lost after 6 days.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in helping you finish your order; you can object at any time.
“Notify me” for sold-out pieces
Your email and the piece you’re waiting for, so we can tell you once when it’s back.
Legal basis: your consent.
If you contact us
Your email and what you write, so we can answer you.
Your account
If you create an account: your name, email, password (stored encrypted), addresses and order history, so you can check orders and check out faster.
Cookies
When you first visit, a cookie banner (CookieYes) lets you accept, reject or choose cookies by category. Your choice is saved, and you can change it at any time with the cookie settings button.
- Necessary cookies keep the shop working: your cart, checkout, login and your cookie choice. They don’t need consent.
- Analytics and advertising cookies only run if you allow them in the cookie banner. If you say no, none of the tools below are loaded.
With your consent, we use:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google): to see how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, how you arrived and roughly where from, so we can improve it.
- Google Ads (Google): to measure whether our Google ads lead to visits and orders, and to show our ads to people who visited the site.
- Meta Pixel (Meta, for Facebook and Instagram): to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show our ads to people who visited the site.
- TikTok Pixel (TikTok): the same, for our TikTok ads.
- Pinterest Tag (Pinterest): the same, for our Pinterest ads.
These tools receive information such as the pages you visit, the products you view or add to your cart, a completed purchase and its value, your browser and device type, and an identifier stored in a cookie. Each company uses this data under its own privacy policy: Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest. You can also manage ad personalisation in your Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest account settings.
Legal basis: your consent, which you can change at any time with the cookie settings button.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We share only what each partner needs to do its job:
- Printify and its print and shipping partners, to print your piece and deliver it (your name, delivery address, phone and the items ordered).
- Our payment provider, to take your payment securely.
- Our website host and email delivery service, which store the site and send our emails.
- CookieYes and Google Tag Manager, which run the cookie banner, record your choice and load the tools you allowed.
- Google, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest, only if you allow analytics or advertising cookies (see Cookies above).
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
Our newsletter and customer emails are managed with FluentCRM, which runs on our own website, so that list isn’t held by a third-party email company.
International transfers
StyleTodo and most of our partners are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Where the law requires it, these transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Orders and invoices: as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 7 years).
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Abandoned carts: tracking stops when the cart is marked lost after 6 days; you can ask us to delete the record at any time.
- Notify me: until we send the email, or 12 months at most.
- Messages to us: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
- Your account: until you ask us to close it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you, or send you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it (we may need to keep order records the law requires);
- stop or limit using it, including objecting to cart reminders;
- withdraw your consent, for example to the newsletter, at any time.
Write to hello@styletodo.com. If you’re in the EU or the UK and think we haven’t handled your data properly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our shop isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Security
The whole site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to customer data is limited to us, and payment details are handled only by the payment provider.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update it here and change the date below. For important changes we’ll tell customers by email.
